WP jQuery Lightbox
[resolved] Works in Safari, broken in Firefox (4 posts)

    Hello,

Since updating to WP 3.2.1, wp-jquery-lightbox seems to be broken in Firefox. In fact, after upgrading it didn't even run in Safari, but after deactivating the rather antique WPaudio Plugin (http://wpaudio.com/) it worked fine.

However, in Firefox it's not doing anything - when I click onto an image, it merely takes me to the page with the image. It looks as if the javascript isn't working at all.

I've just downloaded and installed the developer version 1.3.3, but still no luck.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

    Best,
    Ralf

Sorted. I had to deactivate HyperCache as well (http://www.satollo.net/plugins/hyper-cache). The only question that remains - is there a WP Cache solution that works with the Lightbox?

Any caching plugin that doesn't concatenate javascripts works just fine. WP Super Cache is good.

    Many thanks!

I'll give that a try. I've also solved the little problem with the audio player plugin - I've installed the Haiku Player, which doesn't use Javascript at all, but instead is HTML5-based. Yay!
