   I'd like to be able to tag audio uploads with my custom taxonomy "bands" from a drop down list on the attachment page. Can this plugin be modified to do that?

   After that, I can load all the custom information for a band while playing a song in a pop-out media player.

   Hello,

   This is currently not supported by this version of the plugin. It relies on the standard WordPress taxonomy tables.
