I must not be doing this right, I uploaded a folder of images, and put the shortcode on the page, but it's blank. It has the javascript in the source code but no images. I tried changing the theme to twentyeleven to see if it was a theme conflict, and still nothing. I have no other plugins installed. Any ideas?

Sounds like the plugin did not find any images. Likely due to an error in the path. When using a folder of images, once you configure the path in the settings it will display a list of the found directories. This is the best way to make sure the path is configured correctly.
