Saw the plugin so went to your site and tried it out. Somehow it thinks I am in spokane Wa, not Seattle Wa.... somehow it is hundreds of miles off, not even close to correct.
Using comcast at home, no proxies etc...
to bad, was a cool idea though.

Could be due to an outdated maxmind database. I'm thinking I'll need to provide a mechanism to update the database from inside the admin console... either that or issue regular updates to this plugin with an updated database. Thanks for trying out the plugin and for the feedback.
The version that is saved in the plugin repository doesn't work on 3.1 nor 3.2. The options don't save and the short codes don't read properly.
See Mike Lynn posted here...just wanted to re-iterate / confirm what Brayne said. This plugin in the repository does not work.
The include files aren't included.

Important note folks... this plugin relies on the MaxMind IP Database. MaxMind maintains a mapping of locations to assigned IP addresses. My plugin will only be as accurate as the MaxMind database... also keep in mind that this is the Free Version of the database and is less accurate than the commercial version. See http://www.maxmind.com for more information.
