Hi, this error is now showing.

"This web site needs a different Google Maps API key. A new key can be generated at http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/javascript/v2/introduction.html#Obtaining_Key."

Is there a fix for that ?

    Thanks.

The latest release of WP Geo should have fixed this issue.
The WP Geo settings should direct you to the following link to obtain an API key if you have not entered an API key:

    https://developers.google.com/maps/signup

Under "Google Maps JavaScript API v2" click the "Learn how to use an APIs Console key" link for information how to acquire an API key.

    Hi,

I have exactly followed the instructions, but I turn on the google page in a circle. I can not make it (of course after registration) on the google page to find an area where I can get this key.

I always move between these two sides:

    https://developers.google.com/maps/signup?hl=de-DE

    and

    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/v2/introduction?hl=de-DE # Obtaining_Key

Can someone give me detailed information for beginners like me get to get this key to use theplugin?

    Thank you very much

The instruction for getting the key are on this page:
    https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial?#api_key

    1. Visit the APIs Console at https://code.google.com/apis/console and log in with your Google Account.
    2. Click the Services link from the left-hand menu.
    3. Activate the Google Maps API v2 service.
    4. Click the API Access link from the left-hand menu. Your API key is available from the API Access page, in the Simple API Access section. Maps API applications use the Key for browser apps.
