[Plugin: WP Forum] chinese support

I am building a Chinese language learning website (www.crazina.com) I installed wp-forum 2.2, adjusted it to my liking, and then wrote a few categories and forum topics. After saving my work I viewed it in firefox and IE7 to see how it looked, and everything that I had typed in Chinese Characters had turned into question marks..”?????????”. I am very new to web design (this is my first website) and I am not sure if there is a hack/code that would allow this plugin to support Chinese characters, or if there is another -forum- plugin that would support both English and Chinese.
