• I have a problem when I want to download a file directly from the site via WP-Filebase generated links (ex. from file tree). After downloading .doc files or .jpg files I’m getting an error message which says that the encoding of a downloaded file is corrupted. It means that I have to recover proper encoding in MS Word every time I want to open the downloaded .doc file. In case of opening .jpg files I have to use Gimp (for example). Where is the source of the problem? I will be grateful for any helpful answers!

    PS
The simple way of adding media files to posts or sites (through admin page) works perfectly. Which means, I can download them after publication and what is more important, their encoding don’t change.
