WP-Filebase is solving all of my problems but one. I have to share/distribute hi-res images from my site. The images are in .tiff format. All other common file-types (jpg, png, gif, etc.) show a thumbnail of the image in the display area.
Is there a way to do the same with .tiff files, or is there a way to associate a thumbnail in a different format of the same picture to the .tiff file?
Many thanks for your help! I... I love you.
TIFF files won't show in a web browser. You could upload JPGs (or whatever) and link those images to the TIFF files.
Generating thumbnails of tiff files is not supported. I might add this in a future version
Hello - fabifott, thank you for your excellent plug in. I have a question about generating thumbnails. We distribute free educational powerpoints, pdfs, etc. and the automatic thumbnail fails to generate. I am ok with creating my own image but what are the specs and where would I upload the file to? If you can provide me this information it would solve many of my life's major problems. Thanks. :)
