I also would like an answer to this. I get a warning like this:
Warning: rename(C:\wamp\www\website/wp-content/file.tmp,C:\wamp\www\website/wp-content/file.rar/.tmp) [function.rename]: The system cannot find the path specified. (code: 3) in C:\wamp\www\website\wp-content\plugins\wp-filebase\classes\Admin.php on line 689
I just want to be able to have it redirect to a megaupload link with no uploading on my website.

Sorry, I didnt read properly. WP-Filebase downloads files even you choose to redirect only to get stats about size, md5 and ID3. Problem is that PHP stops execution after some time, so large files cannot be loaded completly. I wil try to fix this by disabling the file scan for large remote files.
