   The plugin had a problem and could not install. It was a line in the Name of the plugin that was not with "comments" I added /* to the second line and it worked!

   In wp-featured-post-with-thumbnail.php missed comment tag /*

   <?php
   
   Plugin Name: WP Featured Post with thumbnail

   Add this /* and enjoy! ))

   <?php
   
   /*Plugin Name: WP Featured Post with thumbnail

   I just downloaded v3.2 (2011-03-05) and received the same syntax error.

   Fixed by adding the /* as indicated above.

   Hope this will be fixed in future releases.

   I am having the same problem but I don't know where I can edit the plugin to add the /* I tried to do it through my host... please help
