whe n you unzip it – remove the wp- from the directory name and it will work….

This plugin works fine when you do some css modifacation (wordpress 2.92) however i do have an issue when placeing it under the menu system, The drop down menu falls behind it, but i am working on that issue.
I’ve got this working fairly well, except the posts it’s showing suddenly started appearing below the slider like on a typical posts page. I’m not sure how to turn that off as yet..
This is a great, highly customizable plug in. It did require two important steps to start working properly:
1. in featured-content-slider.php the link to jquery is an old version and should be updated to the most current version
2. in content-slider.php the last line of php should be modified from: <?php endif; ?>
to: <?php endif; wp_reset_query(); ?>
