[Plugin: WP-FacebookConnect] logout doesn't logout of FB (8 posts)

    I would think that if a user clicks 'logout' in the sidebar (or anywhere that triggers wp.login.php?action=logout) then it should at best sever the FB Connect session or at least log you out of both the current site and FB. Currently I am experiencing no log out at all on either side.

    Using version 1.1.1 FYI.

    Does your logout do a redirect (e.g. a redirect param is passed to wp-login) or does it land on the wp-login.php page? There's a bug that prevents logout from working properly in the former case. It works fine in the latter though (or should). You can also logout by clicking "logout" in the box in the upper-right-corner.

    I can't log out either. Using the box in the upper-right corner, still no log out. Brings up the box saying I am being logged out of both sites, but it isn't logging out of either.

    i take that back. it is logging out of FB. just not removing the box in the upper right. it only looks like I'm logged it, FB however does log out (gives a session time out).

    Feel free to try my modded version at http://traviswcarter.com/plugins/wp-facebookconnect.1.1.3.zip
    As of right now, logging out will take you to the WordPress login form and then forward you back to the page you logged out from. That's the only way I've gotten it to work as of yet. Doesn't cure the redirect issue directly (yet), but may be what you need. I'm using wp 2.8 btw.

    daviscomedy, could you post a url with the address of the site? What browser are you seeing this in?

    @ahupp
    I can confirm the issue with the stock plugin in 2.8. Would it help if I setup a test blog for you to see?

    Travis, when trying to active your plug in, it says:

    "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error."

    Heard of this from anyone else? My biggest problem with any other version I get installed is the pop-up box asking a user to publish a story to Facebook dos not come up when submitting the post. ANy tips on that? Thanks!
