To deactivate the plugin when you do not have admin access, you must have access to your file access to your site.

If you do have access, navigate to your plugins folder (eg. wp-content/plugins/).

Once there, find the ‘wp-email-login’ directory and either rename the directory to anything else or delete it entirely. This will deactivate the plugin,

Now, attempt to login with your username (not email address!) and password.
