I’ll try to keep this short with as much pertinent info. I have 4 sets of variations. 2 of the sets that only have 2 variations a piece load fine. The other 2 sets are color options, therefore have about 12+ variations in each set. When I try to aplly them, the wheel spins endlessly. If it does happen to load the page is ridiculously long and nearly impossible to scroll without it freezing. How do i fix this? To make it easier, there is no price variation, I just need the color options to show. I am a small business owner, not a coder, a fairly simple solution would be appreciated.

A little more info if it helps…there will be no variaitons in the price, I just need to be able to have mycleints select the correct colors and models.

    Hi Nicko,

When variations are created, WP E-Commerce creates a ‘child product’ of the product you’re creating a variation for. What is likely happening is that you’re on a shared host with very limited memory resources – WP and WPeC together are probably already pushing it to the limit, and creating a product with 4 variation sets, 2 with 2 variants and 2 with 12 or more is trying to create between 500 and 600 products – very likely causing you to hit a memory limit.

If it’s simply a matter of showing color options and having a user select one, it might be better suited as a custom field – there’s a plugin for that –
