[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] 'Incomplete sale' status after completing the full payment (10 posts)

    In store sales section shows

    'Incomplete sale' status after completing the full payment .

    My Configuration are

    Configuration
    I am using WordPress 3.1.2 and WP e-Commerce Version 3.8.4.

    WP-Admin > Settings > Store > Payments > PayPal Payments Standard 2.0
    Display Name: mysitename.com
    Username: maypaypalaccount@mysitename.com
    URL: https://paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
    IPN: Yes
    Send shipping details: No
    Address Override: Yes

    Forms Sent to Gateway
    First Name Field: First Name
    Last Name Field: Last Name

    PayPal > My Account > Profile > My selling tools > Website Preferences
    Auto Return for Website Payments: On
    Return URL: http://www.mysitename.com/products-page/transaction-results/
    Payment Data Transfer: On
    Encrypted Website Payments: Off
    PayPal Account Optional: On
    Contact Telephone Number: Off
    Express Checkout Settings: No

    PayPal > My Account > Profile > My selling tools > Instant Payment Notification (IPN)
    Notification URL: http://www.mysitename.com/?ipn_request=true
    IPN messages: Receive IPN messages (Enabled)

    How i solve it?

    I've been having this same problem.
    It seams rather daft to have a system of this type which is set up not to work. I have the same settings as you, after searching for a solution and yet it still doesn't work. Nor do any of the suggested config checks make any difference.
    This plugin is a waste of time.

    Also having incomplete sales problem. One day it works then the next it doesn't.
    Is there somewhere I can view a log of paypal interactions with the site please?

    Has anybody any idea what is going on?
    I'm using wp e-commerse version 3.8.9.5
    and gold cart Version 2.9.7.1
    also WP E-Commerce Premium Shipping Version 3.3

    I got some help and it turned out my problem was due to the development site being in a password protected folder. Once I lifted the password it worked. However, it doesn't work through paypal sandbox so still not sure what's going on...

    well when I try to post on the getshopped forum for help . I log in then I'm told that the page/forum is unavailable, yet when not logged in its there.

    I have double checked all paypal settings, and swapped from paypal standard to paypal express and still the same problem happens. Payments are accepted at the paypal end yet on the site it says payment incomplete

    Just sorted it. no idea how but Instant Payment Notification (IPN) message delivery through paypal had been turned off.. Not sure how as 2 days ago everything was working fine.

    Still fixed now.

    I even ran into this issue recently and got the fix for it. In my case it was due to multi currency. The accepted web payment currency was different than paypal primary currency.
