   A terrible plugin that tends to break your whole site. The support wavers between terrible and nonexistent. Not sure which is worse. Don't get the free plugin, and for God's sake don't pay for the Gold upgrade. I did both and it cost me and my clients a whole lot of time, hassle, and lost sales/donations.

   The support is just like any other product - if you are using the free version, you have access to the community forums. Your mileage may vary. If you purchased the Gold Cart Plugin, you get premium support - but again, they're dealing with only the resources they have, so you may still be in a queue for that. If you're experiencing an actual problem with the plugin, the best thing to do is to describe what the problem actually is (with a use case) and send it to the developer's so the bug can be fixed.

   Completely agree with the OP - this plugin is horrible. The documentation runs you in a loop and every second link is broken.

   The forum is full of smartarses with typical answers like "have you googled it?". There are so many things wrong with this plugin - they should just start again.

   Justin, you're obviously quite good with PHP - you need to be with this plugin because it's a hack. That might suit you, but defeats the purpose for the masses, surely.

   Hi Jean!

   I appreciate the compliment, back-handed though it may be.

   I'm not here to defend WPEC against all of it's weaknesses or tout all of it's strengths. But objectively speaking, you don't have to be a developer to get it working. I have many clients who have it working just fine, and with over 1.7 million downloads, I'd wager a guess that many others do, too. Saying the forum is full of smartasses is only as true as your experience proves it to be. When I was less familiar with the plugin, I found lots of great help on the forums.

   Anyway, welcome to the internet, your thoughts have been voiced. If you have a concern of substance, a real bug report, something that can be documented and fixed, I'm more than happy to help.
