  • I’m having the same issue. I have WP 3.0.1 with WP e-Commerce 3.7.6.9. It works with the older version (3.7.6.7) but not with the new one. Creating new variations works but when you try to add it in the product page it won’t save. Hopefully we get a fix for it soon.

    I’m having the same issue.
Is there any solution to fix this
    Thanks

I am also having this issue, and have a very angry client! I am looking to resolve it myself, but I am not familiar with the code so I dunno how far I will get.

I am also having the same issue. Im thinking about downgrading to 3.0 to see if that will work.

Badreef: It’s the same thing with 3.0. It’s not WP. The latest version of the plugin is the one with the issue. You could always downgrade to version 3.7.6.7, in which the variation feature does work.

    Replace the version in /wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-admin/js

    What do you mean exactly?

open /wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-admin/js/variations.js in an editor, and replace EVERYTHING in the file with whats in this file: http://nomademail.com/variations.js

Will fix variations, I just tried it this morning, and my variations are working: http://amazingwow.com/products-page

That worked, thank you so much!

    Thank you very much.
    MY shop working again

@badreef thanks for the fix, and bump for a release to fix this 🙂

I tried badreef’s fix, but it didn’t fix my variations problem. When I apply a variation set to a product, all the variations are automatically selected with greyed-out checkmarks. Nothing can be selected.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

This WP e-Commerce 3.7.6.9 version has tons of errors or maybe getShopped made it for one purpose which is to upgrade you WP e-Commerce from Free to Gold. But the easiest solution is to use the 3.7.6.7 version that will fix the problem or the hardest part is to hack the database if you still need this version to work there’s one problem though the payment gateway, you will most likely get this error:
“Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address.”

    Thanks!

I did my first wordpress site and installed the e-commerce plugin. My shopping cart works fine except for the variations part. I am selling tshirts but under variations I can name a variation but when I do there’s nowhere to add a value. I tried installing this version of variations.js but nothing happened. Any ideas would be great. Since this is my first time, I may have done something that I am not aware of. Please help!
