• I’m really confused by the options for the dTree widget. I assume that “Open to selection” would open the tree up to the section of the menu that the page you’re currently viewing is in? Is this not the case?

I have a structure like this:

    Page 1
    Page 2
    Page 2.1
    Page 2.2
    Page 2.3
    Page 3
    Page 4

When I go to Page 2, I assume that would should happen is that the menu should expand so that the sublinks (Page 2.1, Page 2.2, Page 2.3) are now visible. However, the option “Open to selection” doesn’t make this happen. Am I missing something? I admit that I’m finding the option titles sort of cryptic, so maybe there’s a different option (or set of options) I need to choose?

    Thank you!

    Yes, that’s the idea.

Need a link to find out what’s going on with your installation.

I have the same problem. I can’t create a submenu without the page 2 (in the example) but when i click page 2 i have nothing because the page is empty. I thought it would expand the menu.
Is there a way around it?

Your problem seems to have little to do with the original one. Try enabling pretty permalinks in your WordPress settings and update this thread ones they’re active. (so I can check what’s going on with open to selection)

    Thanks for replying.
I looked in all the WordPress settings and didn’t see ‘pretty permalinks’.
In the section ‘permalinks’ It’s on Default and there is ‘day and ‘name or month’ and ‘names or numeric…

I found some info about pretty permalinks but it’s a bit beyond my knowledge. I use dreamweaver for ftp access, can go in cpanel. do you have a clue?
