All the checks are green and the backup indeed works when gzip is disabled. However, with GZip enabled, the backup fails with this message:
Database Failed To Backup On '4. 7. 2012 @ 01:51'. Backup File Size Is 0KB.
It creates a 0kB file. What could it be?

What could it be?
It could be due to the limitation in the server. Did you check with the web host, if they have enabled gzip? I know gzip is fairly a necessary utility, but certain hosts disable it too as it takes a bit of CPU power.
BTW, I just tested this plugin with gzip enabled. It works fine in my VPS. At the time of testing my WP version is 3.4.1 and the plugin version is 2.63 (all in current version).
