   after upgrading to WP 2.9, scheduled backups no longer work. anybody else have the same problem?

   I'm experiencing the same issue as you. Upgraded to WP 2.9 and nothing. I'm using this across 5 or 6 WP sites, 2 different servers, and none of them are backing up correctly.

   I have 3 sites with WordPress hosted on 2 servers. After upgrading to wp 2.9, wp-db-backup plugin not working correctly. No longer automatically saves database ... lag far behind the date and time ...

   Yepp, It does not work anymore. Only manual backup is working.
   There is also an older bug about changing the backup date/time still present.
   Updates and bugfixing of this product seem to have stopped half a year ago...?
   That is a pity, because it has been doing a good job until summer 2009.

   Anyone has a proposal of an alternative plugin?

   turns out it was a wordpress bug.. just upgrade to 2.9.1 and it should work.

   After upgrading to WordPress 2.9.1, plugin wp-db-backup started working. I think it works correctly now.
