   I just installed it and I got an error message stating that my server was down. I also got the following message:

   "Error establishing a database connection

   This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at mysqlv2. This could mean your host's database server is down.

   * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
   * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
   * Are you sure that the database server is running?

   If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums."

   I had to remove the plugin folder using Filezilla, but i still get that error message about username/password not being able to contact the server.

   Anyone know what happened? I'm using the following plugins:
   Add 2 Any
   Askiment
   ALL in One SEO
   Bog Icons
   Extended Options
   FeedBurner plugin
   Featured Content Gallery
   FeedNeed/FeedStats
   Google Analytics for WP
   Google Sitemap Generator
   Google News Sitemap generator
   Login Lockdown
   No Disposable Emails
   Yet another Related Post

   Also, I want to make sure I have completely uninstalled it. Any instructions for that?

   You may need to repair the database.

   Access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel), check all of the tables, and choose "Repair tables" from the pull-down menu.

   Hello

   This does not seem to be an issue with my plugin as my plugin does not effect how your installation connects to your database. I just made a fresh test installation of wordpress on my live server and i was unable to replicate this error.

   Any updates on how the plugin is working for you?

   One more comment

   i have a deactivation hook that has been built into the plugin since the first incarnation that deletes the options from the wp_options table. so if you uninstall the plugin, all traces of it are removed.
