I definitely want to move toward extending the capability of the plugin to allow for things like this. Perhaps not exactly like this, but certainly something similar.
Just remember that the plugin is still in beta. I’m still working out some bugs with just this basic functionality! 🙂
Nathan
i love this simple yet powerful plugin. but unfortunately it won’t work using firefox. the slide just don’t run. however it is ok when loading using chrome. any suggestions?
sorry about my english. I hope you know what I mean.
I’ve been working on a jQuery Cycle plugin for WordPress that uses a post’s gallery: WordCycle
Also still in beta, but a different approach to the same “problem.”
Simple. Easily installed. Well documented. Works.
This plugin saved my @@s when on a deadline. More “comprehensive”, “elegant”, “fully-featured” image rotator/slideshows (I’m looking at YOU FCG) for reasons known only to god could not be made to work after two days of fiddling and forum searching.
Wp-Cycle just works and the client is happy.
Hi Nathan I’m very glad to find this plug-in.
I would for it to be able to do multiple instances.
I like this plugin, it’s way smaller and simpler than the dynamic content sliders. However, I’d like to be able to use ems, rather than pixels, for my image sizes. Is there a way, currently, to accomplish that?
Nice plugin. Thanks. Multiple instances would be great as would the ability to point at gallery folders already on the server. How about integration with NextGen Gallery?
I’m sure that I’m not alone in wanting to get away from Flash slideshows in favour of something that will work on iPhone and iPad.
