   I have WP Calendar installed on a site and the Site URL is like http://www.website.com/wp/ . Plugin works perfectly. When I change the Site URL and move the main htaccess file and index.php files into the root directory so the site is now http://www.website.com the plugin breaks.

   The page that has the graphic calendar returns a 404 error and in the back end, trying to view a calendar event by clicking the "View" link does nothing. Moving the Site URL back to http://www.website.com/wp/ fixes the plugin but now the Site URL is incorrect. I never had this problem before the 1.5 update. Any thoughts?

   sounds loike you have wordpress in stalledin a sub directory of your site
   look at the codex to see directory structure of wordpress usually wordpressis installed in the rood directory and the plugins are in a sub folder of the installation
   check the codex is your best bet if you have wordpress in the sub directory then everything mus be in the sub directory to work
