Love this sexy plugin, thank you.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to prevent commenters from entering html or php code. If you enter, say, <!– test –> in the comment box and click Submit, the code is lost, and sometimes weird things happen (like the entire comment area disappears permanently). You can test this at test on either post at http://www.soulmastery.net/wordpress/blog/.

Ideally I want to allow comments with code, but if nothing else, can I show an error message like “No HTML allowed” if someone tries to enter < or >? Or is this something you might add to the next release of this plugin?

  • Does comment posting works as expected with your WordPress installation and theme when the WP-Ajaxify-Comments plugin is disabled?

Nope 🙁 enabled or not, using that kind of code in comments causes problems, even with a fresh installation and twentyeleven theme.

In other words, this isn’t a fault of your plugin, but I was hoping your plugin could be the solution!

Thanks for your feedback. I will mark this topic as resolved since it does not seem to be a problem of the plugin.
