[Plugin: WP Ajax Edit Comments] Editing casues bizarre junk text issue

When editing a comment and submitting, the text turns into a string of garbage text like so:

Refreshing the page clears the garbage text. This doesn’t occur in my case when I’m editing comments as an admin, only in user cases. This occurs across different browsers too.
