[Plugin: WordTube] Batch upload video with metadata.

    Hi,

    Is it possible to batch upload videos including metadata?

    Is it possible to upload with FTP program and then edit a configuration file with all metadata (Title, description etc) including what playlists the files below to?

    Can this be done?

    i’ve not tried it with video, but take a look at my Import Legacy Media plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/import-legacy-media/

    this will take files you’ve FTP’d to your server and put them in the Media Library with Title and Description data taken from (in order of precedence) ID3 tags, EXIF data, or the filename.

    do video files use EXIF? (like still images)

    if the plugin is close to doing what you want i’ll take a look at improving it to cope with video explicitly.
