[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Stats plugin issue with wp_remote_get()

Hi,

I’ve had this issue since 1.5 due to the refactoring of the iframe. I’ve decided to update Stats once again and to check where my issue is coming from.
It seems that the script stops executing when calling wp_remote_get(). Is there a reason why this function stops the execution of the script ? I don’t get an error in the server logs.
Perhaps there is an option to activate in my php.ini?
