   Iäm using the WordPress.com Stats plugin, but on my dashboard I'm getting this error where the top post and searches are supposed to be shown:

   Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /hsphere/local/home/hanachan/hannaisabella.com/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/stats.php on line 548

   Is there a way to fix this?

   This is a bug in the plugin i think, i've got it on all of my blogs aswell

   I encountered the same problem today and could solve it by updating the "WordPress.com Popular Posts" to its newest version. So, if you are using the Stats module and the popular posts extension, maybe this could also be a solution for you.
