May you improve the Steam Login using their SteamID as Username as well as display name based on Steam display name?

I am not coder myself, but if this work I will donate $10 for sure.

May be https://github.com/cerealk/Steam-Authentication-for-XenForo will give some clue.
I also have code for SMF Steam Login. If needed, let me know.

not been a steam user myself, im stuck with a limited account and i can’t create an apikey to work on it

If you do manage to create an api key, I would also really like what the poster said to be implemented. I hope you can do it 🙂
