Yup. Me neither. But not in every case. Just in three cases.
Actually – if you view the source on the empty page that shows up, I’ll bet the sitemap’s there. I “found” the sitemap when I opened up the blank sitemap, and viewed source. It was all there, as pretty as can be. I think it’s an issue with the XSL file…
Anyone else seeing the file when they view source or open it in a text editor rather than through the browser?

Have you tried to manually remove the sitemap files and regenerate it again?
I found the mistake.
If I put the Webmaster Tools, Yahoo and Bing Meta the sitemap is generated…but if I leave those field empty the sitemap generation fails.
I’m also getting a blank screen but there sitemap is also there when I click source.

@andreapernici where can I get the meta values? I have already verified my site
When you verify your site within the 3 webmaster tools.
Debugging this issue at the moment, seems to work on some installs and not to work on some others. If you find anything that fixes it, let me know!
@rhythmofthecosmos: that’s your old XML sitemap, you should actually remove that one for the rewrite to work.
