I have the same problem. It appears to be some kind of injection of code from a hacker. However I have no idea how to remove it and what else has been compromised. I've tried deactivating plugins and that has not resolved the problem.

I was using BWP Google XML Sitemaps, and now its blocking WordPress SEO to create the site map, I am not tech enough to figure this out. And also I dont know how to edit the robot file.

This is the error its generating:
BWP Google XML Sitemaps Error: Requested module (sitemap_index) not found or not allowed.

Update. I shutdown the BWP Google XML Sitemap, and now I could generate the site map, however when I submitted it to webmaster, it reported an error - that it was an HTML document...

I'm having a similar parsing error in my sitemap, but am not using any conflicting plugin... any other thoughts on this?

We had a similar experience with a server attack on Sunday night around 12:15 am and then this...don't know if they are related..but the timing is there. I will check my other sites and report back...does anyone have a fix?

My sites running the old version seem to work: Version 1.2.8.4 and less on multiple sites seem to be working...My suggestion is to not update until Joast figures this out. (Thank you for all your work Joost!)
