[resolved] XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity (3 posts)

I have just configured Yoast WP SEO to create the XML sitemap which it says it's done successfully but when I click on the sitemap link I get this error:

XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity
    Location: http://my-website.co.uk/blog/sitemap.xml
    Line Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="http://nile-cruises-4u.co.uk/blog/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/css/xml-sitemap.xsl"?>

Could anyone advise what the problem is and how I can rectify it? Should I go back to my previous Google XML Sitemap plugin for the time being?

    Thanks

Your theme or one or more of your plugins are outputting whitespace, causing this issue. Nothing I can do in my plugin to prevent that...

    Thanks Joost.

Our website was hacked a few months ago and took 2 weeks to rebuild including the Blog with 507 posts.

I am going back using Worpress SEO by yourseld one by one for each post. But afetr I have added "Focus Keyword", SEO Title" and "Meta Description" afetr I click update and then return to the post and look at those fields they are appearing as blank again.

Should this be happening? I have just upgraded to the latest plugin version.

    Thanks, Colin
