WP SEO by Yoast: Sitemap: Google Webmaster Tools: Invalid date (6 posts)

I'm having a problem indexing my "WP SEO by Yoast" generated sitemaps in Google Webmaster Tools. It appears to be because of an invalid date.

It shows for Last Mod.: (-0001-11-3 T00:0)

    Parent tag: url
    Tag: lastmod
    Value: -0001-11-30T00:00:00+00:00

"An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting." My question is, how do you fix the date?

This is the one I get the error in:

    http://www.swissgenesisskincare.com/page-sitemap.xml

and this is the main sitemap:

    http://www.swissgenesisskincare.com/sitemap_index.xml

    Hi,
It appears that you fixed the invalid date issue. It would be highly appreciated if you could share how you accomplished this. Thank you.

Hello mefta, I don't exactly remember what I did, it was 5 months ago, but I know I tried deleting the old sitemap and re-installing wp by Yoast and generating a new sitemap but I was using the "SmallBiz" Theme that makes it difficult to alter the front page and I think the problem was with the theme itself and what homepage I was using. Sorry I can't remember. Nobody ever answered me here.

Greetings, Many thanks for your helpful explanation which may allow me to deduce the underlying problem. Will adhere to the same set of actions you undertook in case that resolves Yoast's sitemap error. Thank you.

@mefta: Where you able to fix this error? I'm facing a similar issue.

I am also finding the same issue! Yoast seems to be getting worse and worse. This is also causing some indexing issues for one of my sites.
