For some reason, my website name (BMED Report) appears twice in the title. This is true for homepage or individual posts. I’ve looked everywhere for this random extra site name and can’t figure out where it is coming from.

For example, the home page appears like this:
<title>BMED Report (The Behavioral Medicine Report) - health and wellness through psychological science BMED Report</title>

Notice the second BMED Report attached to the end of the site description.

And an individual post looks like this:
<title>Western Diet Changes Gut Bacteria And Triggers Colitis In Those at Risk - BMED ReportBMED Report</title>

Notice the double BMED Report together at the end.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Chris

  • I had that too and I just checked off ‘Force Rewrite Titles’ Under the Titles tab and that dropped the second one.

I know the plugin declares that it knows if you need it or not, but for some it’s just not that knowledgeable yet:)

Hopefully that will solve your issue.
