    I’ve set this to

    %%sitename%% %%page%%

    and its result on the index page is

    Sitename – Page 1

    But what I want is for the index page to be just

    Sitename

    and then for Page 2

    Sitename – Page 2

    I’ve tried leaving the title template blank but it displays

    Sitename – (with a hyphen)

    on the index page.

    Again the ideal behavior for me should be just

    Sitename

    on the index page and then on page 2 and succeeding pages

    Sitename – Page 2
    Sitename – Page 3

    and so on…

    How can I achieve it properly with the title template?
