[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Title Text is outside of Title Tags

    I have also found this same problem.

    WordPress version: 3.32
    Theme: Thematic child theme
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2

    Same here. Title is placed outside of <title></title> tags, resulting in white bar at the top of the page.

    If one selects “Force re-write titles” it appears like this instead:

    “Title Title Title”
    <title>Title Title Title</title>

    So there is a duplicate instance of the title still outside of the tags.

    Also using WP 3.3.2
    WP SEO version 1.2
    Thematic child theme

    Error occurs only after recent upgrade to SEO 1.2

    After the update it also seems to move the entire contents of the <head></head> except for the “Content-Type” to the <body></body>.

    Hi, I also have the same problem since running the update.
    Disabling the plugin fixes the issue but I’d love to find a fix!

    Got this problem too running the latest version of WP SEO and Thematic. Going to revert to the previous version until this gets fixed…

    I think Joost will make it up to us in ver 1.2.1 soon, just a minor bug
    try %%sitename%% %%title%% for temporary fix
