• Hi Joost,

On my website for example I have a Ruzzle FAQ with lots of questions.

In your plugin I have option to remove the ?replytocom variables.

There is an explenation on this, but I don’t understand it so I’m not sure what to do and what the consequences are.

This prevents threaded replies from working when the user has JavaScript disabled, but on a large site can mean a huge improvement in crawl efficiency for search engines when you have a lot of comments.

Please help. Also I have lot’s of crawl mistakes in Google webmaster tools like this:

    beheer-abonnementen?srp=38&sra=s

I use jetpack for comments. What to do with this?

    Kind regards

    Willem

    Hi Joost or somebody else,

I´m happy to wait a while for a answer, but I hope somebody still wants to take time to have a look at this question…

    Kind regards,

    Willem

    Hi Joost or somebody else,

I also read your post about replytocom links.

    You tell:

On a site like this one, with often over a hundred comments on a post, it means there are 100 links pointing to that same article, causing a lot of crawling that’s totally unneeded.

But how does it cause lot of crawling? Because in Google webmasters in Google URL parameters Google tells it ignores the parameter:

    replytocom ver

They ignore it because it seems it does not change my content.

    Kind regards, Willem
