• Hi all,

I have a question about the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin. I’ve been searching for the answer for quite a while, but I haven’t been able to find it.

When I check the ‘Remove category base from URL’-button, category url’s are rewritten from /category/boats/ to /boats/, that’s a good thing.

But for some categories, there is a page with the same name, so /boats/ actually is a page. Because of the ‘Remove category base’ function, the category overrides the page, so: the page isn’t visible anymore: /boats/ now shows the category. The problem is i actually need to show the page instead of the category.

Does anybody now how to solve this issue? Thanks in advance!

This page for example shows a category, where it should show a page.
