I have loaded the latest SEO Yoast pluggin (v1.2.5) on my WordPress using the Delicacy Theme (v1.2.4) and when I go to the Title & Metas section of the SEO settings, there is nothing displayed when I click on any of the tabs (general, home, post types, taxonomies, other, help). I tried both the latest Google Chrome browser and Firefox. I'm using this on a Mac running OSX 10.7.4

Yes, same problem with Windows 7, WP 3.4.1 and Firefox. Do you have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

I am having a problem with title tags, too. For example, I made it so that my title tag would read first the post name and then the site name. But instead my title tags are reading "Site name | Post name | Site name"

Why is it listing the site name twice?

    Web address is http://www.breatheintothebag.com

I am having the same problem with nothing appearing when I click on titles & Metas, see the tabs ( general, home, post types, etc...) but nothing else is there.

    Thank you

    Phil

    Same problem with me.

I found the problem... for me.
The WordPress SEO admin settings page: 'Titles & Metas' has 6 tabbed content areas (General, Home, Post Types, Taxonomies, Other, Help) with various SEO settings and a 'Save Settings' button.

With the 'WordPress Meta Robots' active those tabbed content areas are wiped out.

I dont have WordPress Meta Robots installed, but still dont have any of the content under 'Titles & Metas' showing up.

Same problem as original poster. I don't have WordPress Meta installed. Tried IE 9 and Chrome.

I think I had the same problem but I fixed it as I just press the 'save settings' button :)

But now I have another problem :(

I haven't figured out how to fix it yet, but I did discover that at least in my case, that the Nextgen Gallery plugin is what is breaking Yoast. When I deactivated the plugin, Yoast began working again. It seems the update I did to Nextgen Yesterday has broken the plugin.

Thought the Nextgen Gallery was the key, but alas, I deactivated Nextgen and still have the problem.

With the 'HeadSpace2' active those tabbed content areas are wiped out.

I'm having the same problem. After I installed W3 Total Cache, the "General" tab under "Titles & Metas" stopped giving me the option of customizing my home page title.

Now the home page title simply takes the title of the most recent post.

    Has anybody had any progress?

Volgens mij is dit alleen als je vanaf edit post komt, dan komt er #post bij url en is de page leeg haal je dat weg uit de url dan is het probleem opgelost

I HAVE INSTALLED THE DEVELOPMENT VERSION… but same problem…

Yes, for me (on my host) it sound like a memory failure. I can (sometimes, not everytimes) see "try to allocate some xxxxxx bytes…" on the bottom right of the Titles/Metas page, hover the "Last news of Yoast" section.
    I have a 48Mo Ram plan.

    1- I've upgraded from 1.2.1 to 1.2.5
    2- > Failure
    3- Downgrade to 1.2.4 > fail
    4- Downgrade to 1.2.3 > fail
    5- Downgrade to 1.2.2 > fail
    6- Downgrade to 1.2.1 > fail
7- Upgrade to DEV version > fail

But… damn… it was resolved when I desactivate BackWPup, yesterday, and now, I also have to desactivate BackWPup AND Subscribe2 to access to Tit/Met page.
Otherwise, for the moment, even if the Tit/Met page is hover, that doesn't break my Titles & Desc on front end.

Not sure, but this need a huge fix, as it sound like a sever memory burst… I don't know…, but it look like an emergency (keeping pressure on Joost ;-D )

(BTW, does anyone know a nice but lightweight plugin for Subscribe2 replacement? This is not my first memory orgy with S2…)

Same problem here. I don't think it's an issue with other plugins as my site is relatively clean. Plus I have a good 8Gigs of RAM. Looking forward to a fix as this was one of the best SEO plugins.

Crossing for uping/hoping/pressuring/refreshing, Knut find something intresting: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-seo-by-yoast-titles-metas-empty-plugin-interference

I also notice than this thread as 3 weeks, and no word from Joost, wich has just launched today a new update (1.2.6 wich did not resolve this bug).

    Still no resolution!
Update 1.2.6 didn't resolve the issue for me either. Would be nice if the developer would at least acknowledge the problem and let us know that he is working on the problem. I don't see reference to the problem on the development log. We can provide add'l info to help solve the problem if it's needed.

I am having the same problem. I have no meta tags which is bad, especially on the home page. I thought of entering that info using HTML under the head tag, but I don't know how to access the home page. PropheticDreamers.com

The originator of my theme referred me to this plug-in, but it's blank. Anyone have any other thoughts?

Same problem. But I just noticed...to all those having this problem, if you scroll down below the right sidebar, do you see a memory allocation error? It might be unrelated.

Update: Turns out it was related. I simply disabled the "Contact Form 7" plugin and it's all good now!

I don't have the "Contact Form 7" plugin. Still out of business on this.

Here is my solution: It was a php memory error. I talked to my web hosting agency and they switched to another database where I've got more php memory. And now everything is working again.

    Maybe that helps you.

I found my solution here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-wordpress-seo-by-yoast-titles-metas-empty-plugin-interference (I deactivated my All in One Calendar plugin. Then the Title and Meta options appear.

I wish I a pearl of wisdom to add, but I too am experiencing empty titles & metas tabs since upgrading yoast (I use the twentyeleven theme). I deactivated all other plugins (none of which have been mentioned as causing conflicts, but I tried anyway) - to no avail. I have tested in multiple browsers and rolled back to 1.2.7, but I still cannot get meta and titles to work! Arrghh...any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
