Hi I have downloaded a theme and had a problem with a blank screen. I have managed to narrow this down to being caused with a conflict with the Yoast SEO plugin,

So I am not able to use the theme till this is sorted as I need the plugin enabled and have done a lot of work on it so deleting it is not really an option. Any idea of why this maybe happening?

Also if I delete the plugin and reinstall it to see if this fixes the problem would I lose all the work that has been done? Will an export preserve the full set of data entered.

    Thanks

"Will an export preserve the full set of data entered."

You can test this easily, if you export the mysql-database and replace the domain in the .sql-file with your localhost (or whatever you're using), download all installation-files with ftp, change the config-file and then run everything on your localhost (e. g. with xampp).
