Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » [Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] PHP Warning when trying to export settings

  • On the latest version of WordPress SEO (0.4.1) running a Network install – When visiting the export screen at /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_import and clicking the export button, I am present with an empty error below the field simply stating “Error: ” but above the fieldset there is a PHP warning (see below). When I look in the plugin code, by searching the plugin folders contents for WPSEO_UPLOAD_DIR the definition is only referenced in the wpseo-non-ajax-functions.php file and I can’t find where it is defined.

Warning: chdir() [function.chdir]: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/inc/wpseo-non-ajax-functions.php on line 93

Should I export from the database instead? Thanks

Since I’m on a network install, I managed to work around this – I needed the export as a default file for the rest of the sites on that install, by going to the network admin WordPress SEO admin screen and setting the option for ‘New blogs get SEO settings from this blog” to my main site id, and then resetting each sub-site settings using the form below.

This worked perfectly, but does not resolve the issue stated in my first post. Hope this helps anyone dealing with this scenario.

I get the exact same error, but I can’t do the workaround. So I’m stuck. I have two different sites and in both this is happening. It worked before (at least a couple of updates ago).

I am also getting the exact same error and it did work for me on the last version I think. I am also running the latest version of the plugin (0.4.1).

I forgot to mention that I am NOT running a Network install (the error happens here too).
