[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Meta description issue

Hi,

I have set a standard meta description for all of my posts. But sometimes google is showing the breadcrumb, sometimes wrapping up description from the post and sometimes a part of the meta description from wordpress SEO is being shown. Also google is showing only 53 characters in meta description which is very weird. I am using a genesis child theme from studiopress.
