   WordPress version: 3.3.2
   WordPress SEO version: 1.2.1

   I did this: I entered an author's Google+ profile in the appropriate box on their user profile.

   I expected the plugin to do this: Add the rel="author" parameter from their byline to their Google+ page.

   Instead it did this: It didn't do that.

   Any help greatly appreciated!

   It's not meant to do that. It adds a <link rel="author" in the head, which also works.
