Yoast used to add the next, prev tags to the head along with the noindex. I am using a genesis child theme and while looking at the source, I realized that it no longer works. Any plans to fix this? This is the main reason I switched to this plugin.

Yeah it'll be fixed in the next version except for the homepage. On the homepage, which Genesis often uses as a static page without checking the settings -> reading settings, the rel="next" was causing issues, unfortunately the fix was far from ideal, so the next version will improve on that.

Thanks for updating that. Is there a work around to get it to work on the home and its paginated pages? I am not using the static homepage. Thanks.

I never heard back on this one and it still isn't fixed. I am using Genesis and rel=”next”/rel=”prev” tags work on archives, but how can I get it to work on my homepage? The plugin also adds a noindex tag to all the homepage's paginated pages even thought I disabled it for the archives. Seems like this would be a good one to fix considering how many use Genesis.
