[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Feature request: add other sitemaps to the sitemap index

    I have the same issue. But the plugin doesn’t provide for this.
    I have a blog and a shop – same domain but different software obviously.
    If you deactivate the plugin the path to the sitemap also disappears as they are generated only when the plugin is active.

    I use another sitemap generator (outside of wordpress and shop software) that includes all areas of my domain – and submit that instead. It’s more work – but at least it includes all my site

    Ditto! I have a separate wordpress install in a /shop subdirectory running woocommerce. I’d really like to be able to include the shop’s in the main blog’s index…
