    Howdy,

I’m using Version 1.1.5 of WordPress SEO and have been using WordPress SEO for over a year.

One of the things I really liked about this plugin was that the meta description I entered along with the thumbnail of my webcomic page would show up in Facebook posts when I linked there. As of a couple weeks ago, the thumbnails stopped showing up. And then this week, the meta descriptions and page title stopped showing up on Facebook too.

When I’ve gone to the Facebook Debugger Page

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

and entered in a page from my Web site like this one:

    http://webcomics.yaoi911.com/archive/artifice-title-page/

    I’m now getting this error:

Error Parsing URL: Error parsing input URL, no data was scraped.

It seems like Facebook is suddenly not finding any data at all! I haven’t changed my caching plugin (W3 Total Cache). In fact I don’t think I updated any plugins before this started happening. It makes me wonder if Facebook has changed the way they do things.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas how I can get Facebook to recognize my meta details from WordPress SEO again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Alex

The data is all there, the issue is with Facebook’s linter, not with my plugin 🙂

Alas. That’s what I figured. Thanks for responding.

Not sure how I’ll go about fixing this, but I’m glad I can rule out your plugin and me not having the data there…

Apparently Facebook isn’t liking the minifcation… You could disable that and see if that improves things.
