[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Datum gebaseerde archieven / date based archives

    Goedenavond,

    In de SEO plugin is een vinkje te zetten bij ‘Datum gebaseerde archieven uitschakelen’.

    Betekent dit dat het dus niet meer mogelijk is op de site de widget ‘archives’ te gebruiken, die vervolgens de maanden toont waarin je berichten hebt geschreven?

    De reden: Voor datum gebaseerde archieven gaat hetzelfde op: ze lijken waarschijnlijk veel op je homepage en kunnen dus mogelijk als dubbele content gezien worden.

    Maar als je kiest voor ‘noindex, follow’ is het probleem van dubbele content dan niet al verholpen?

    In the SEO plugin is an option for ‘Disable date based archives’.

    Does this mean that is is not possible anymore to use the archives widget that shows me the months I wrote a blog?

    The reason to disable date based archives Yoast SEO tells me is to prevent double content. But if I check the box ‘noindex, follow’ isnt’t the problem solved with that??
