[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Clean header vs Secure WordPress

    Can anybody tell me if I have to use this options and what it is:

    Clean up the <head>
    Hide RSD Links
    Hide WLW Manifest Links
    Hide Shortlink for posts
    Hide RSS Links

    Ik also have Secure WordPress by WebsiteDefender installed, but it looks it has nothing to do with these options in Yoast SEO. Please advise.

    WordPress adds link meta tags to the header for various reasons. For example it adds a shortlink meta tag to make it accessable for some retweeting plugins and whatnot that looks like this:
    <link rel='shortlink' href='http://cree.me/SngEHG' />

    These links various links have potential SEO implications so Yoast’s plugin gives us the option to disable some or all of them.

    You can Google each of the other links to find out what they all are there for and decide whether you need them or not. Personally I just leave all these unchecked in most cases.
