   Hello,
   the plugin gives the option to exclude categories from sitemap but looking in the sitemap, I can see links to all the posts in the "hidden" category.

   +1 For this. Excluding categories from the sitemap only seems to exclude the category from the category-sitemap, not the posts in that category from the posts-sitemap. If that makes sense?
