    Gday Joost,

It appears that there is an error with canonical urls for paginated post pages. Not sure if its me or the plugin causing the error because this is the first time playing around with post pagination. Maybe the same issue as in 0.1.8.

Lets say you have a post example.com/long-post/ the first paginated page url for that post is example.com/long-post/2/ as you would know.

I would presume the canonical for that post page would be rel=”canonical” href=”http://example.com/long-post/2/” but it is displayed as rel=”canonical” href=”/2/” in the page source. When I click on /2/ hyperlink in the page source, it takes me to example.com/2/ which doesn’t exist.

If you didn’t understand a word of that, Click here for example, then view page source. (ignore how the site looks, just started it, hehe)

I think the issue is also preventing the %%pagenumber%% title shortcode working on the paginated pages. I have “%%title%% %%pagenumber%%” but its only displaying the title of the primary post page on every paginated page. Can also see this in the example source code.

    Cheers mate

    Hayzie
